Cable TV and its different channel at present in U.S. is now a deep buried past. We can only see that streaming channels are slowly devouring the market of the cable streaming channels. Cable operators have made lots of money once but the Hollywood business runs on the different path right now (Savage & Wirth, 2005). In the streaming services, investors are making double money. In such manner, the cable channels are getting opted out of the business. There used to be many channels and in the television world, cable operators with their channels once ruled the business. But now the scenario has been changed; now, the streaming business covers everything and the cable channel one after another gets out of the business. With the streaming service, the viewers have got the opportunity to cut down their budgets and they do not need to pay the huge amount to get the subscription for the different channels. Now, the sports and entertainment can go along in the same platform. In this new business of the streaming service, one thing has become notable that the investors and the cable channel holders have made the huge loss (Savage & Wirth, 2005). They invested millions in their business and now with the channels getting opted out because of the less demand make them almost pauper. The new business and the emerging plan to make the streamlining business will cost them misfortune. There are less cable channels in the U.S which is absolutely true because Netflix is the new throb in the business. Reference Savage, S. J., & Wirth, M. (2005). Price, programming and potential competition in US cable television markets. Journal of Regulatory Economics, 27(1), 25-46.
